The
Mantapas
There are two mantapas in the venue - the main wedding mantapa which is an elevated east-facing stage and a covered viewing mantapa surrounded by lush greenery and turf flooring.
This space is ideal for intimate weddings and receptions, and the covered seating provides your guests with shelter against rain & heat. It allows flexibility for different informal & formal seating layouts and can seat upto 150 guests with a floating capacity of upto 200 guests.
The
Mane
The main characteristic is a traditional malnad style house with an open courtyard (aangan) which can be used to hold intimate haldi, mehendi, varpooje, engagement ceremonies and can seat 50-100 guests around the open courtyard.
The
Accommodation
The property has a total of 8 rooms which can accommodate 40-50 people. The bride and groom suites are AC suites with antiques re-purposed from across Karnataka & Tamilnadu.
In addition, the mane has 4 family rooms and 2 large dormitories. These are eco-friendly traditionally styled rooms made with sustainable materials to provide natural temperature control.
With existing mattresses, The Tharavadu Mane can comfortably accommodate 40 people across these 8 rooms. In total, the venue can accommodate upto 50 people with extra mattresses.
All rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, spacious with modern facilities.
Dining Area
The Dining Hall is a large traditional weather-proof semi-covered hall for seated dining purposes and can accommodate 75 people in traditional south-indian plantain leaf seated dining.
In addition, the Tharavadu Mane has a large kitchen area with store room facilities. Guests are allowed to bring their own caterers.
Please Note: only veg food is allowed inside the venue. Both liquor and non-veg food is not permitted inside the venue.
Other Facilities
At Tharavadu Mane, the beautiful antique arches, 250-year old sit-out area, the charming antique windows and frames, are aesthetically placed surrounded with lush greenery to provide a cozy yet perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
In addition the venue also has a functional kitchen area, Ganesha temple, a rustic lotus pond with a alluring fountain and guest parking for 30-40 cars.
